Is Sole A Good Elliptical Trainer Manufacturer?

One of the most important features that tilts the scales in favor of a particular brand of an elliptical trainer is the warranty. The extent of the warranty speaks volumes as to the quality and the durability of the machine.

There is a relative new player in the elliptical trainer industry, Sole Fitness. They are defining their niche by offering one of the most extensive warranties available at any price range. This includes 5 year coverage on parts and electronics, and 2 year labor.

But, what’s so great about warranty when considering the purchase of fitness equipment? . At the outset it limits your liability in the event of a breakdown. It’s very expensive to go for the services of a professional for replacing costly parts. Second, you can’t ignore the fact that warranty certainly speaks volumes about the quality of equipment. And Sole Fitness is backed up 100%.

Come to think of it; isn’t warranty an extension of simple business sense?. You don’t expect a manufacturer of an elliptical trainer to offer you an extensive coverage by way of warranty if the product has not been designed and manufactured to last for a long time, do you?.A manufacturer with an imperfect design or not-so-dependable quality of materials used can ill afford to give such a liberal warranty, for it would be suicidal for the company.

Why do you think cheap elliptical trainers come with a 90 day parts and labor warranty? . It’s because the manufacturers do not have much faith the machine will last much longer than that.

It’s not only a fabulous warranty offer, Sole Fitness manufactures elliptical trainers of very superior quality. In a recent test I very impressed with the smooth elliptical motion, and how quiet it was, even when I cranked up the resistance. Another feature I liked about it was the 20” stride it had to offer. Generally such elliptical machines are designed for a stride of 16 to 18 inches.  Working on machines with smaller strides limits your workout while the elliptical motion gets bouncy. The longer stride is certainly needed for taller people measuring about six feet or above but even those with average height will remain comfortable with a stride of 20 inches. Not to mention short stride of Proform ellipticals.

Further, their treadmills are being patronized by Hilton group for their in-room fitness equipment. That’s another testament of its quality that withstood and surpassed the tests of commercial environments. This same quality can be found in their elliptical trainers.
